I found a really cool artist, Gus Fink, through Tiktok. He paints cats in his own unique style. He recieves a ton of hate comments about his art style, and uses those comments to respond with a video, which will boost his views. He figured out how to use the hate comments and they mysterious Tiktok algorithm to make his art show up on people's FYP. Normally my for you page on Tiktok does not have art, but his artowork managed to find its way into my doom scrolling. I think it is really cool how he only responds to comments with a video of him painting a cat, not context, no words, no explanations. just painting a cat.

I really like his art style, and the almost unnatural looking vacant eyes. The cats remind me of the doodles that I find around my highschool, and all over my math notes. I like how he keeps the same style across different mediums, I think that that is something I might want to try sometime.
