Oura Sananikone artist talk

I love the use of bright color in Sananikone’s work. I think more art should have bright colors, and I think that is something I would like to try to bring into my own work sometime.

I also really like the graffiti elements in the murals, I have always admired graffiti and wanted to try it for myself. I never thought about painting murals inside, like the one he made inside a garage, and I wonder why I haven't seen more of these. It would protect the art more, and I think it would be super cool to have a mural inside a garage or other building.

I really love the jumbo robot mural, I think it is super cool, and I love how it blends into the building with its monochromatic colors. I'm curious to know if the bricks help with mapping out the sketch for murals.
