Dan Kanach artist talk

I really enjoyed the talk on tuesday by Dan Kanach, a digital designer who double majored in english and art. I learned about motion graphics and what designers actually do. The talk focused on how to make money as an artist, and things artists can do to start a career. He mentioned submitting art to contests, which is something I will consider doing. I also took note of the points about learning lots of different software, and creating your own brand. My miniature art has had a brand name, logo and color scheme for a while, and I may incorporate it in my website at some point.
