Progress update on Artist's Mark peices

My in class peice, recreating DaVinci's sketch of a hanging dude, is going well. Im really enjoying working with a brush and ink, and I hope to continue doing that even after this project. I have learned a lot about patience, a topic I always seem to be learning more about.

My at home version, creating the artist's mark but using my own image, is off to a rocky start. My paper tore a little bit on one edge. I plan to ignore it and move on, and then once my peice is done I will glue or tape it together. I have completed about 2/3 of the needed sketching, and still hope to buy my india ink and more brushes.
